What is therapy?

Therapy is an opportunity to meet with someone to process experiences in a confidential space. Together, we may use

to increase insight into the experience, strengthen your capacity of self-kindness + self-keeping, promote healing and stress reduction, and ultimately create change within your life or your family unit's life. 

What about yoga therapy?

Yoga therapy may incorporate elements of mental health therapy sessions. However, yoga therapy sessions primarily focus on physical healing and wellness as a path to holistic healing. Sessions may include

basic yoga movements

breathwork

mindfulness

meditation

stretching

to promote healing and stability. Sessions are based on trauma-sensitive therapy principles + can be adapted for the pregnant or postpartum body. Materials are provided for these sessions.

Where do we meet?

It depends! We can meet at a variety of locations depending upon your needs and your family's needs. Typical sessions may happen at:

We can work together to determine the most appropriate setting depending upon your needs + confidentiality. 

... and how much does it cost?

Most sessions run for 50-55 minutes and cost $100. Longer 1.5-hour sessions may be available upon request for $150. 

Home visit sessions may be provided for a slight additional travel fee.

Families and individuals with Medicaid health insurance can receive services free of charge through their health insurance. 

Families and individuals without Medicaid health insurance can request a receipt from each session to submit to their health insurance.

I accept cash, credit/debit card, HSA/FSA accounts, and checks.
